秋の終わりの野生動物たち
麓郷地区は早朝には０℃前後の気温となる日も増え、着実に冬が近づいています。場内や施設周辺で観察できる動物の行動も変化しています。
エゾシカは繁殖期を迎え動きが活発化し、人前に姿を現すことが増えました。道路への飛び出しも増える時期ですので、運転にはくれぐれもご注意ください。
エゾユキウサギは秋の始め頃は冬毛がほとんど見られませんでしたが、ここ数日で白い冬毛が目立つようになりました。
野鳥たちにとってこれからの季節は餌が少なくなる時期です。
場内に設置している餌台に来る頻度も増えていますので、ぜひ観察してみてください。

Ezo deer have entered their breeding season and have become more active, appearing in front of people more frequently. This is also a time when they are more likely to dart onto the road, so please exercise extreme caution while driving.
While Ezo moutain hares had almost no winter fur visible in early fall, in the last few days,
their winter coats have become more noticeable.
For wild birds, the coming season is a time when food becomes scarce.
They are visiting the feeding stations set up on the grounds more frequently, so please take the opportunity to observe them.
